Initial Concept Planning

Tertiary treatment is designed based on physical and chemical method. Two modules are considered for this plant with average flowrate 6048 m3/d.. Type of agreement for this project is EPC.

This review has discussed pretreatment system including micro drum filter, disinfection unit (Ozonation system) in order to reuse municipal wastewater treatment plant effluent and to reduce the pollution load. Treated wastewater characteristics have been controlled strictly and meet the standard for irrigation.

Other information

The aim of this project is tertiary treatment of treated municipal wastewater through combined method including filtration and ozonation. In order to optimize the amount of ozone injection, wastewater is transferred to micro drum filter. The filtration unit consists of two micro drum filter units located inside the reservoir. Filter is equipped with horizontal axis of rotation.
